My wife tells me I'm neurotic about making coffee. I'm learning to accept that label.
This coffee maker is wonderful. There are the few minor issues that people have mentioned.
1, The top doesn't snap closed securely the way I'd like it to.
2, If you overfill the reservoir a bit you end up with coffee on the counter.
3, The carafe must be positioned squarely under the basket or you'll have a mess.
These are such trivial problems, that I feel guilty even pointing them out in this review. This machine does NOT need a design overhaul to fix these issues. They are primarily user problems.
This machine makes perfect coffee every time. That's the bottom line.
I bought the MT-500, not the MT-600 (made in China), so I can't say whether they've regressed in quality.
Life is too short to drink bad coffee.
